This bit is not too thick, not too thin, just right.

The loose rings swing and adjust for increased comfort and sensitivity and small bulbs at the corners prevent pinching. Horses enjoy the taste of sweet iron with copper inlay. The snaffle bit is intended to be used for teaching, controlling, reinforcing, and refining lateral flexion.

It is a bit to be used mainly with a sideways pull for lateral flexion. It is not the type of bit you pull on with both hands at the same time. Whenever you use a snaffle bit, use one active rein at a time, either directly or indirectly, or, use two supporting reins at one time to hold a conversation with your horse about stopping or yielding back.

The latter is a matter of holding the reins, not pulling on them to stop the horse.

Designed to teach horses to have more confidence in Zone 1, to stretch into the bit. Has a smooth, even feel to the mouthpiece and an oval joint in the middle instead of a single joint. The snaffle bit is intended to be used for teaching, controlling, reinforcing and refining lateral flexion. Sizes: 4.5-inch, 5-inch, and 5.5-inch.

An adaptation by Pat Parelli of the traditional Spanish Mecate (horse-hair) reins. Superior quality rope is smooth on hands and offers ultimate feel. Reins are easily adjusted to lengthen or shorten the loop according to purpose. Lengthen lead rope up to twenty-two feet or fully extend the loop for ground driving reins.
